The Department of Management Studies, fondly called as BBA Department is one of the novel departments of the Alma mater. We embarked our journey in the year 2014, with an intake of 34 students. With a candid vision to promote entrepreneurship and leadership, our department always focused on adopting educative and formative measures, to inculcate genuine citizenship into our scholars. The programme offered here is the Under Graduate course of Business Administration with specialization in Finance. The complementary papers are Managerial economics, IT for business & management, Quantitative techniques for business, and Management science as per the old syllabus (till 2018-19 batch) and as per the new syllabus (from 2019-20 batch) the complementary papers are Managerial economics, Business Regulations, Corporate Regulations and Quantitative techniques for business.
Since inception, we had students hailing from multi-dimensional academic fronts like Science, Commerce, Architecture, Interior Designing, Vocational Studies etc. The fame of the college and its vibrant campus has attracted scholars from in and abroad. Already, we have four batches passed out with flying colors. The initial faculty team comprised of Ms. Merin Prakash, as head of the department, Ms Rosma Thomas, Ms Blesil Francis and Ms. Greeshma Sarun. It was followed by Ms. Ginu Mary Varghese, Ms Shemi Varghese, Ms Reshmi P Ravi, and Ms Kalarenjini V. We presently have a team of faculties consisting of Ms.K.V.Bavisree as head of department, Ms.Blessy Varghese, Ms. Pessy Devassykutty, and Ms. Nikhila Tomy.
In sync with the beats of the Alma mater, our scholars beget ample opportunities for co-curricular and extra- curricular activities, in and outside the campus. The formative spirit of the institution focus on nurturing ethical standards into the vibes of the scholars. The competitive examinations and tutorials catered by our department add into the sustainable development of the future business career of our scholars.
