Department of Chemistry has established well equipped and modern labs to impart basic laboratory skills in students. The College has separate UG and PG labs for Chemistry practical’s. Other laboratory facilities include common instrumentation room, Chemical Store rooms, Gas room with Fume Hood, acid storage room, distillation room, etc. Various Instruments such as, Digital potentiometer, Digital conductivity/TDS meter, Griffin flask shaker, Abba Refractometer, Hot Air Oven, Temperature controlled water bath, Digital Nephelo-turbidimeter, Double distillation unit, monocular microscope, Centrifuge, Hotplate-magnetic stirrer, Electronic weighing balances, Digital pH Meter, Schimadzu UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Calorimeter, etc. are available in our laboratory, Periodic maintenance is done in every 6 months and instruments are calibrated and maintained well. A rainwater harvesting unit is also associated with chemistry lab.
