The chemistry heritage is a venture of department of chemistry to protect and preserve the heritage of department of chemistry. As one of the first educational institutions that offered courses in Science, the departments has old laboratory equipment’s of historical importance. It is our attempt to preserve and protect this heritage The museum houses old laboratory equipment’s like a Spatula made from animal horn, Porcelain Trough etc. Some of these equipment’s were then manufactured in Germany, USSR, USA etc. It also houses old Books & Lab manuals and an old periodic table which is of special interest as it shows the elements identified at that time.
